Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Katapatti, business management software for merchants and commission agents (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using the Service

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must be legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service on behalf of your business.

2. Your Data

You own the business data you enter into the Service - farmers, parties, purchases, sales, stock and accounting records. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. We only use it to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Subscription & Payment

• Some plans are billed monthly or as a one-time payment, as agreed at the time of purchase.
• Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change our pricing with advance notice; continued use after a price change means you accept the new pricing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to access another organisation's data or disrupt the Service.
• Reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or factors outside our control may occasionally affect availability.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Katapatti is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including errors in data you enter yourself.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain unpaid after notice.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
